Where can I fly?
Almost anywhere — presets, search, or 30,000+ runways on the in-game map.
Map
- Open with Nav or N
- Colored dots = runway thresholds (take-off / fly-by / approach)
- Right-click to fly to a point or create a GPS FIX
- Other pilots = dark blue · ADS-B traffic = light blue
Airspace data is for the game only — not for real-world flying.
Chat & multiplayer
Radio navigation
VOR/NDB/DME/ILS on the map, tune NAV1/ADF, use autopilot NAV mode, and optionally import SimBrief plans from Options → General.
Runway landing (ILS + brakes)
- On the map (N), pick an airport, runway, and Approach mode.
- Click the runway ILS icon to tune NAV1 and follow the approach path.
- Reduce throttle and speed; set flaps if needed before the threshold.
- Press G to extend gear well before touchdown.
- Fly localizer/glideslope manually or with autopilot NAV.
- Flare gently before touch-down · Space to brake · ; parking brake when stopped.
ILS data is for in-game training only — not for real-world flying.
Flight plan
Build waypoints from the map, set ALT/SPD, and let autopilot NAV fly the sequence. ILS destinations can auto-capture the approach.
